Everyone seems to be talking about the future of work. I asked my fellow interns here at SAP Fieldglass about their thoughts on the subject to find out how college-age workers think work will change in the coming years.
After gathering the responses, I found that three words appeared most frequently: collaboration, flexible and balance.
July's monthly jobs report showed the US economy added a robust 255,000 new jobs for the month, beating analyst expectations of 180,000. This positive report follows encouraging news from June, following a devastatingly low May which saw only 24,000 jobs created. While we are seeing significant job gains, the headline unemployment rate and labor force participation rate remain relatively unchanged.
