Fieldglass Announces a Record 16 Deployments in a Single Month; International Presence Grows to 63 Countries

Proven Methodology Key to Implementing Fieldglass InSite® for Complex Services Procurement Programs

Chicago—September 23, 2009—Fieldglass, Inc., provider of the leading unified platform for acquiring contingent workers, services and direct hires, today announced the successful completion of 16 launches and expansions in August to add close to $1 billion in new spend through its solution. With these deployments the company now manages workers in 63 countries.

In only one month, the companys professional services team helped six new customers go live on Fieldglass InSite with both self- and MSP-managed programs and led several significant expansions of existing programs to include new labor types, business units and locales. Fieldglass further expanded its reach within various industries, including software, energy, healthcare, government, banking and sales and marketing services.

Specific program launches or expansions in August that stand out include:

  • A Fortune 500 healthcare company with approximately 190,000 hiring managers replaced its existing Vendor Management System (VMS) platform with Fieldglass to acquire its contingent workforce and project-based services.
  • An existing Fortune 500 customer for its contingent spend since late 2008 is now using Fieldglass to manage its Statements of Work (SOWs) in the US, Brazil, Canada, India and the Philippines through its offshore suppliers.
  • A leading SaaS company is now acquiring contingent labor and maintaining independent contractor compliance through the system.
  • A European government entity is using Fieldglass to manage contingent labor spend for its growing organization due, in part, to its role in the 2012 Olympic summer games.
  • A Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company replaced its first-generation solution with Fieldglass. It deployed nearly 3,000 workers in North America in less than 90 days.

“The last month’s launches and expansions demonstrate our team’s ability to handle simultaneous complex, global deployments effectively and on time,” said Jai Shekhawat, CEO, Fieldglass. “With a total of 16 critical deployments in August, we feel confident our seasoned professional services team will continue to handle FieldglassҒ record-breaking growth with relative ease into 2010.”
