Fieldglass CTO Sean Chou Named a 2009 “Pro To Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive

Chou Recognized for Helping Clients Take a More Strategic Approach to Managing Labor

Chicago—March 24, 2009—Fieldglass, Inc., provider of the leading unified platform for acquiring contingent workers, services and direct hires, today announced CTO Sean Chou was named a 2009 Provider “Pro to Know” by Supply & Demand Chain Executive. Chou was recognized for assisting clients during the current economic downturn in managing risk in the supply chain, providing competitive advantage and delivering value to the bottom line.

Chou urges customers to follow a data-driven approach based on extensive reporting and analysis in order to make informed, strategic labor decisions during these difficult economic times. He recommends companies establish measurable business objectives, benchmark against peers and use technology to drive conformity as well as automatically measure performance.

“It is not uncommon to try to ‘do more with less’ in this uncertain economy. By using metrics in a more proactive way, companies can get the best value out of their contingent workforce,” said Sean Chou, CTO, Fieldglass, Inc. “We are honored to be recognized by Supply & Demand Chain Executive for helping customers take this strategic approach.”

Using InSite, FieldglassΒ unified technology platform, companies have the best vantage point from which to manage the procure-to-pay process across all of their workers and set realistic goals and budgets. Fieldglass goes a step further by advising its customers on their overall labor strategy, using knowledge gleaned from relationships with 80+ firms whose workers generate more than $5 billion in spend annually through InSite.

“This year’s Provider Pros to Know have shown themselves to be thought leaders in their respective supply chain segments,” said Andrew K. Reese, editor, Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “Their efforts in developing the tools and processes that enable companies to weather risky economic conditions and place them in a position to surge ahead in better times have earned them a place on this year’s Provider Pros listing.”

Supply & Demand Chain Executive issued a call for Pros to Know nominations in November 2008. Beginning in January, a selection committee comprised of the magazines Editorial and Advisory Board members culled through scores of nominations to find the applicants that best fit the criteria.
