Fieldglass CEO Jai Shekhawat Earns Second Consecutive 'Pro to Know' Distinction From Supply & Demand Chain Executive

Shekhawat Awarded for his Thought Leadership with InSite 5.0's New Recruitment Solution

Chicago—March 17, 2008—Fieldglass, Inc., provider of the leading unified technology platform for acquiring contingent workers, services and direct hires, today announced CEO Jai Shekhawat was named a 2008 Provider “Pro to Know” for the second consecutive year by Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the executive’s user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation.

Shekhawat was recognized for realizing his vision of a single technology platform to manage the sourcing of all human capital. The recruitment solution in InSiteή 5.0 will have a major impact on both HR and procurement organizations, as it allows companies to acquire full and part-time employees, directly source specialized contingent labor and leverage known talent pools including retirees and alumni. Shekhawat saw this as a natural extension of contingent workforce management and services procurement technology.

“Recognized for the second year in a row, Jai Shekhawat has established himself as a thought leader through his innovation, and we’re pleased to highlight his contributions to the supply management field,” said Andrew K. Reese, editor, Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “This latest effort to unify the acquisition and management of all workers is demonstrative of his experience in staying ahead of industry trends.”

Supply & Demand Chain Executive issued a call for nominations in November 2007. A selection committee comprised of the magazine’s Editorial and Advisory Board members culled through the nominations to find individuals who have a vision for the 21st century supply chain and have personally helped clients apply technology or processes to modernize their supply chains.

“I am honored to again be recognized by such a well-respected publication as Supply & Demand Chain Executive,” said Jai Shekhawat, CEO, Fieldglass, Inc. “This award is a testament to the time and hard work we put into developing our product strategy and creating solutions that truly meet our customers’ needs. I share this distinction with the entire Fieldglass team, as we all help execute against our vision.”
