Fieldglass Wins Chicago Innovation Award for its InSite Product Suite
Fieldglass' Unified Approach to Human Capital Earns Recognition from Distinguished Award Organization
Chicago—October 28, 2008—Fieldglass, Inc., provider of the leading unified platform for acquiring contingent workers, service providers and direct hires, today announced it has won a Chicago Innovation Award for developing a unique approach to acquiring human capital through InSite®, its software-as-a-service product suite. Fieldglass will be honored later this evening at a ceremony held at The Goodman Theatre in downtown Chicago.
As a Vendor Management System (VMS) provider, InSite enables organizations to acquire contingent workers and service providers. With the addition this year of InSite Recruiter, Fieldglass customers can now leverage known talent pools such as alumni and retirees, acquire full and part time employees and directly source specialized contingent labor.
“We developed InSite Recruiter with our customers’ current needs in mind, but also their future needs as well,” said Jai Shekhawat, CEO, Fieldglass. “We are grateful to these awards for recognizing Fieldglass and the other exciting technology companies here in Chicago for their commitment to innovation.”
This year marks the seventh annual Chicago Innovation Awards competition, which was co-founded in 2002 by Kuczmarski & Associates and prominent local journalist Dan Miller, as an annual program to honor significant innovations introduced by Chicago-area companies. This year’s winners were chosen from a pool of 307 nominees judged on the success of new products, services, business models or processes that uniquely satisfied unmet needs in the marketplace.
