SAP Fieldglass Partner Navistar Named to Supply & Demand Chain Executive's SDCE 100 Top Supply Chain Projects for 2016

Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the executive’s user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation, has selected Navistar, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) as a recipient of an SDCE 100 Award for 2016.

CHICAGO — June 28, 2016—Supply & Demand Chain Executive, the executive’s user manual for successful supply and demand chain transformation, has selected Navistar, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Navistar International Corporation (NYSE: NAV) as a recipient of an SDCE 100 Award for 2016. Navistar, Inc. partnered with SAP Fieldglass, the global cloud technology leader in services procurement and contingent workforce management, and Bartech, a professional services firm that delivers global workforce management and staff augmentation solutions, on a highlighted project that focused on an integrated and innovative approach to talent acquisition.

In 2014 Navistar engaged SAP Fieldglass as its Vendor Management System (VMS) and Bartech as its Managed Services Provider (MSP) on an effort to gain enterprise visibility into its contingent workforce. Leveraging the resources and capabilities of its in-house recruiting team and expanding its focus beyond permanent hiring to include recruiting contingent workers, Navistar reduced its cost per hire by nearly 50 percent without sacrificing worker quality or speed to hire - and also produced a significant bottom line impact.
