Jai is the CEO and Co-founder of Fieldglass, which makes the world's most widely used Cloud platform for the procurement of contract labor and services. Under his leadership, the Fieldglass platform has grown globally with users in 70+ countries, multiple languages and currencies and over $20 billion in annual spend. He is Ernst & Young’s 2012 Midwest “Entrepreneur of the Year” as well as the current recipient of the Peter Yessne Staffing Innovator Award, recognized for pioneering the Vendor Management Software (VMS) space. In 2010, Madison Dearborn Partners made a significant investment in Fieldglass, valuing the firm in excess of $220m.
Jai previously co-founded Quinnox, an application outsourcing firm in Naperville, Ill., with development and sales operations in multiple countries. Formerly, he was a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Co. in Chicago where he served clients in various industries in the areas of corporate strategy, technology and cross-border alliances. He also worked as a senior executive at Syntel, a software services firm in Michigan.
Jai has held various civic and board positions including serving on the Mayor’s Council of Technology Advisors (MCTA) for the City of Chicago, the Membership Committee of the Economic Club of Chicago and the board of TiE Midwest. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Field Museum of Chicago, is a Board Member of Metrosquash and is a founding member of the Firestarter Fund, which mentors and invests in Chicago start-ups.
Jai holds an MBA with specializations in finance and strategy from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, and a bachelor’s degree in management science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India.
In his spare time, he plays squash competitively in spite of the occasional protest from his tendons and ligaments.
Sean, as Chief Technology Officer, is responsible for the overall development and delivery of Fieldglass’ solution and services, overseeing the product development, hosting, professional services and marketing departments. He has provided the strategy and vision for Fieldglass’ award-winning cloud solution since inception. His development team was an early pioneer in cloud technology, with a number of innovations that have helped define the industry. Under his leadership, Fieldglass has received important product-related recognition from organizations including The Stevie Awards and the Chicago Innovation Awards.
Sean was previously a technical project manager at Giant Step (now Arc Worldwide), an e-commerce and Internet strategy firm focused on creating digital strategies with global brands. Prior to that, he was a senior consultant at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting where he specialized in helping clients explore and define their formative Internet strategies. He attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Since 2004 Rob has led Fieldglass' worldwide sales initiatives and is responsible for both direct and indirect sales channels. He has more than 25 years of management experience in delivering enterprise solutions, including supply chain and ERP products, to a wide range of industries.
Previously, Rob served was vice president of North American sales for Saba Software, a leader in the human capital management and development industry, in Redwood Shores, Calif. Prior to his role at Saba, Rob was vice president of sales, western region, at IMI Corporation, and served in various related positions at Marcam Corporation, ASK Computer Systems and Sperry Univac. Throughout his career, Rob has worked with clients in a range of industries, including pharmaceutical, automotive, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing and telecommunications.
Rob holds a Bachelor's degree in marketing from Northern Illinois University.
John leads Fieldglass' finance organization, overseeing all aspects of strategic finance, public and internal reporting, capital structure management, planning and analysis, business applications, treasury and investor relations. With more than 20 years of fiscal management experience, Jennings has a solid track record of leading and supporting strategic corporate growth and transformative change.
Previously John was CFO of The Merchandise Mart. John joined the Mart executive team in 2008, and was responsible for the integrity of all financial information and systems to meet public company requirements. John previously held senior financial roles with OfficeMax Incorporated and CVS Caremark Corporation. Under his tenure, John executed strategic analysis initiatives, mergers & acquisitions transactions, financings, planning and analysis initiatives, and cultivated banking relationships to enable exponential growth and valuation enhancement.
John earned a Bachelor's degree in business from the University of Denver and a MBA degree from the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
Vish plays an integral role in Fieldglass' award-winning solutions, and has been with the company almost since its inception. He brings more than 25 years of IT experience and nine years of consulting experience to his responsibilities at Fieldglass.
Prior to joining Fieldglass, he was a manager with Ernst & Young's Systems Development & Technology group, where he served as a technical lead on PeopleSoft Solutions at a major real estate management company. Previously, Vish was employed at Syntel, a software services firm in Troy, Mich., where he oversaw an HRMS PeopleSoft implementation. He has also led teams in the U.S. and India developing custom Web and client server applications for Norfolk Southern. Earlier, Vish served as an application integrator with IBM Global Services and also worked on the development of IBM mainframe products such as RACF/DSMON and CIM/CDF.
Vish holds a Master's degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, and a Bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Mysore, India.
After nearly a decade with the company, Mikael is responsible for overall operations as well as the success of Fieldglass clients throughout Europe. Mikael brings 20+ successful years of sales, business development, marketing and account management leadership experience to his position.
Prior to joining Fieldglass, Mikael served as the vice president of EMEA sales at Saba Software, a leader in the human capital development and management industry. During his tenure at Saba, the company became the dominant provider to the European Financial Services industry with Mikael leading the initiative to bring on one of the largest banks in the world. Prior to Saba, Mikael held sales and business development positions at Infinity Learning Systems as well as OpenText and its affiliates.
Mikael holds a law degree from Uppsala University in Uppsala, Sweden.
