CFO Roundtable: Opportunities and Challenges in Uncertain Times

In this session Fieldglass CFO Jim Holtzman, joined by panelists from Duchossois Industries and Harris Bank, addressed how the current economic conditions are affecting companies, both internally and externally, and strategies to combat the negative effect on employees and customers alike.

During the roundtable, Holtzman specifically discussed the unique challenges for fast-growth companies like Fieldglass during a downturn, specifically how to best prepare internally for a better economic climate. In addition to being cashflow positive, Holtzman stressed the importance of communicating openly with employees and taking advantage of any slow periods by implementing programs, such as training.
